Joey Evans

Joey had a dream to race in the Dakar Rally, regarded as the most dangerous off-road race in the world. During a local race in 2007 he was hit by another biker. He broke his back, crushed his spinal cord and was completely paralysed from just below his chest. It took 10 years, with many challenges and lessons learnt along the way; on January 2nd 2017 Joey stood as a competitor on the start of the Dakar Rally in Asuncion, Paraguay.
